Marco van Sterkenburg
After having completed his International Business Studies in The Netherlands and France, Marco van Sterkenburg worked in the international telecommunications industry for many years. Marco led new international business sales for a number of large multinational corporations including France Telecom and Equant (now Orange Business Services). Marco is well experienced in selling highly complex technical data and voice communication services to multinational companies in a wide variety of markets.
Marco van Sterkenburg played a key role as sales and business development director with Bibit Global Payment Services. During his time at Bibit he developed the company from a domestic Dutch payment service provider to a dominant global player in payments, processing over 110 billion Euros in funds. In 2004 Bibit Global Payment Services was successfully sold to The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Marco focuses on the sales management of Syllion´s portfolio companies. Marco played amongst others an important role in the development of Docdata Payments into a leading international payment service provider.
